Ken Romley, Linda Coleman, and Wendy Ella May, candidates for Second District US House of Representatives, met with Democrats to make presentations and answer questions on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Ebenezer Church in Rocky Mount.
Democrats in the Second District will vote in the primary on May 8, to send one of these forward to run against the incumbent George Holding, in November.
On Monday, April 2, 2018 @8:00 a.m. Wilson County Clerk of Court Andrew Whitley swore in the new members of the Wilson County Board of Elections. Wanda Davis becomes the fourth Board member. Following the ceremony, the board met and elected Chip Futrell as Board Chair, and new member Wanda Davis as Board Secretary.
